Final episode was also enjoyable, it set up a lot of the questions I think would have made the earlier part of the season more interesting.

i was a bit disapointed by it :( !!!!

I liked that it was trying to be like Empire, with a downer ending, but at the same time, it seemed rushed and then just gearing up for next series, which unfortunately (most probably) won't have Ray Stevenson in it, and it looked like they were gearing up more of him and his apprentice, which would have been great.

Can't see them going full CGI and deep fake on it.
Maybe if it was mid filming.

Hadn't realised he'd died until I started searching for series two dates.
I didn't think they'd gone full evil with him so it would have been interesting which direction they'd have taken.

His apprentice though, nasty piece of work and I bet she was delighted that he had the perfect grooming and she ended up looking like a burst cushion.

Nothing actually planned and if they do a second series we won't get to see it before 2025 at the earliest.

Don't know if it was just me, but I found the whole thing kinda underwhelming. I only have a passing knowledge of the characters involved so probably wasn't as invested in their fates as more die-hard fans would be. Thrawn didn't really come across as that terrifying or intimidating either, and the only peril seemed to come from the possibility they were going to get stuck in another galaxy - which they did. 

Still, nice to see Claudia Black on screen again.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand what the "cargo" Thrawn gave as payment to the 3 witches was or what purpose it served other than to delay his attempt to get away.
